- To be eligible for the ICDF Scholarship in Taiwan, applicants must hold citizenship in a country listed as eligible and meet specific criteria established by their country or government.
- Applicants should not be citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or classified as overseas national students.
- Similarly, students should meet admission requirements for the partner university chosen for the scholarship.
- Applicants must not hold any other ROC (Taiwan) government-sponsored scholarship during the academic year of the Taiwan ICDF Scholarship.
- To be eligible for this scholarship in Taiwan, all students must maintain a clean record who have never had a scholarship revoked by any ROC (Taiwan) government agency or related institution. Similarly, they should not have been expelled from any Taiwanese university either.
